The Central Library and Learning Resource Centre of GDEC is situated in separate block on the ground and first floor. The library provides its services in a spacious area totalling 1040 square meters. It includes a generously sized reading room and a library sections for its users. The library’s collections encompass a diverse range of materials, including books, periodicals, magazines, and project reports in print format. Keeping pace with modern library trends, it boasts a vital collection of e-books and e-journals. The Central Library and Learning Resource Centre are fully automated, equipped with a comprehensive library management software-SOUL 2.0. The system handles the issue and return services for documents to its members. The library operates on an open access system, with user accession entries recorded in real-time through the LMS.

WORKING HOURS:
• Monday-Saturday – 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Library will be closed on Holidays declared by the institute and 2nd - 4th Saturday

LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP:
Library membership is open to all the students, faculty and staff.
Borrowing Privileges:
• Student: 3-Books for the period of 15-days
• Teaching Staff: 10-Books for the period of 1-semester
• Non-Teaching Staff: 3-Books for the period of 1-months
