A bachelors programme in Automobile Engineering was started in the Academic Year 2012-2013 with an intake of 60 students. The department offers four-year under-graduate program in Automobile Engineering.

Departmental laboratories including workshop are equipped with the all the necessary instruments and experimental set-ups or test rigs to fulfill the requirement of experimental work at undergraduate level.

The most important asset of the department is the team of young, dedicated and well qualified faculty members. All the faculty members posses Masters degree in the various specialized fields of automobile engineering
